Standout Room - RL Acoustique, Tenor Audio, AER, Audio Aero
On the sound in the RL Acoustique room, which
displayed Lammhorn 1.8 speakers ($6500) driven by Tenor Audio 15 WI OTL amps
($14,600/pair) and an Audio Aero Capitole 24/192 CD player ($6200), Wes Phillips said,
"While listening to a Miles Davis/John Coltrane disc, 50 years of time melted away,
and the performers were in the room." Also in use were Harmonic Technology
power cords and interconnects, Analysis Plus speaker cables, and a pair of the Argent Room
Lens. The Audio Aero CD player was at least partially responsible for the wonderfully
memorable music produced by four other systems.
