Cary Audio hasn't abandoned tubes but has entered home theater in a big way. Pictured above are the company's new Cinema 6 processor (top, $2500) and Channel 7 amplifier ($2500). The Channel 7's power output is 7 x 100Wpc.

Dali of Denmark displayed a wide array of loudspeakers that all had impressive finishes. The Euphonia MS4 pictured above ($7385 per pair) uses a "wide dispersion tweeter module" that includes both ribbon and soft-dome drivers. We hope to get a pair up to the NRC to measure.

Harman/Kardon's display recalled the brand's earlier days with a display of classic H/K products, including a classic Citation II tube amplifier.

But here and now, H/K's new line of A/V receivers looks thoroughly modern. Pictured are models that range from $449 (AVR 130) to $1299 (AVR 630).

JMlab's new Chorus S line use new drivers in cabinets that are said to be more rigid and better damped. Shown above is the Chorus 726 S ($1395 per pair), while below is...

...the Chorus 706 S ($495 per pair). All Chorus S speakers are magnetically shielded.

One of the largest and most powerful amplifiers you will ever see is the Musical Fidelity kW 1000-watt monoblock ($24,000 per pair), each of which comes with its own separate power supply.

The matching Musical Fidelity kWP preamp ($12,000) is equally massive.

In addition to its Signature Servo subwoofer, Paradigm introduced the PW-2100 ($699) with 400W amp...

...along with the Seismic 10 (left) and Seismic 12 subwoofers, which use the same 1200W amp as that in the Signature Servo.

Billed by TEAC as "a custom-installer's dream," the TR-D2000 is a dual AM/FM tuner with a single antenna input.

The xHiFi xDucer 2.1 multimedia speaker system is an attractive alternative to most speakers meant for use with computers and gaming consoles. All amplification is included in the system's $795 price -- and hidden inside the subwoofer.
