"Glass with Class," Waterfall
Audio's marketing brochure proudly states. The left speaker is the Victoria, a
two-and-a-half-way design that features two 150mm bass/midrange drivers and one 20mm
tweeter. The Victor sells for 2490 per pair. On the right is Satellite
Hurricane, a two-way with a single 100mm bass/midrange driver and 20mm tweeter. The
Satellite Hurricane without stands sells for 760 per pair; the stands sell are
299 per pair.

Marantz's new SA-17S1 multichannel SACD player
features three Crystal 4397 DACs, a copper-plated chassis, and the company's LinearDrive
power supply. The SA-17S1 sells for 2500 .

Marantz also displayed the new VP-12S2 DLP
projector, the VP-12S2, which features DCDi video processing by Faroujda. The VP-12S2
sells for 13,000 .

Isophon of Germany's new Vieta loudspeaker is
a three-and-a-half-way design that sells for 2749 each.
 
Isophon's Stonehenge subwoofer (great name!)
boasts 110dB at 20Hz. There's a 400W amplifier and a 12" driver. On the back panel
are four inputs that allow you to also connect the center and surround speakers in
addition to the mains. The price is 2999 .

The Rega Planet CD player (top) isn't new, but
the Radio3 tuner (middle) and the Mira3 65W integrated amp (bottom) are. The Radio3 sells
for 1000 and the Mira3 is 1000 . |
