Tidal's Sunray loudspeaker outdistances Jeff
Fritz by almost a foot. Features of this 250kg loudspeaker include a 3cm diamond tweeter
and black ceramic midrange and woofer drivers. The price, commensurate with its size, is
68,890 per pair.

Germany's Acapella Audio Arts, makers of the
High Violon loudspeaker you can find reviewed on Ultra Audio, debuted the new LaCampanella horned-based
loudspeaker. The price is 12,400 per pair.

If you don't have enough money to buy the
LaCampanellas, you can look at Acapella's new LaMusika loudspeakers, priced at
6700 per pair. The LaMusika speakers feature a leveling system consisting of a
top-placed steel ball on a thin track that aligns with a mark when the speaker is leveled
correctly.

360-degree radiating loudspeakers seem quite
popular in Germany. Mega Globe's Transglobal I is a four-way loudspeaker for which all but
one of the drivers is reflected by another driver's enclosure. It has a top-mounted,
upward-firing tweeter (that can be turned off), as well as a downward-firing tweeter,
midrange, and woofer. The enclosures are made of aluminum and feature a metallic paint
finish. The price of the Transglobal I is 9200 per pair. |
