CEDIA 2004
Faces & Places Picture Gallery

Series 2

It's rare that we are able to photograph every product and display at an event, but the inaugural edition of T.H.E. Show in Indianapolis provided such an opportunity. Only one system was not set up for multichannel/home-theater playback, but all offered relief from the crowds and noise at CEDIA Expo four blocks away.

Bel Canto electronics drove Cabasse speakers,...

...while Innersound used its own electronics and loudspeakers along with an HRS rack and Shunyata Research power products.

Magnepan teamed up with... [www.magnepan.com]

McCormack, Lew Johnson from Conrad-Johnson manning the electronics.

Vandersteen and Audio Research put on a terrific demo (playing Ani DiFranco and Patty Smith certainly didn't hurt in our opinion).

Wisdom Audio's big speakers...

...were driven by 16 Jeff Rowland mono amplifiers.

Epiphany speakers...

...were used with a full array of BAT electronics, including the new AV7 surround-sound processor. Power cords and power conditioning were by Shunyata Research. [www.shunyata.com]

Cardas Audio provided cables for all systems. PMC Loudspeakers also attended but had a static display.

Providing true demo space during CEDIA is a great idea, and one that will ensure the growth in size and exposure of T.H.E. Show in the future. We're already looking forward to next year.
