England's Morduant-Short displayed the new
Performance 6 three-way loudspeaker that will be available in the fall. The Performance 6
uses the company's Aspirated Tweeter Technology -- a method of decoupling the tweeter
enclosure from the rest of the cabinet, as seen on the rear of the speaker. The
Performance 6 retails for 10,000 per pair.
 
Audiodata's clean-looking Avance three-way
loudspeaker features two side-firing woofers and one coaxial midrange/tweeter driver. The
price is 8800 per pair.

Known for its OTL amplifiers, Graff showed the
new GM 50B fully balanced tube-based integrated amplifier, which sells for 5800
.. Capable of outputting 50Wpc, the GM 50B is available in silver or black
finishes, and comes with a remote control.

Accustic Arts of Germany showed a prototype of
the new Surround-Player I, a combination SACD, DVD-V and CD player. No price was given.

One word for this piece: massive.
Denon displayed the POA-1, an extremely large seven-channel digital amplifier. Because it
was only shown in prototype form (as it was at this year's CES), no details or pricing
were available.
