Revox showed the new M 51Modular Audio Video System, which includes DVD/SACD playback, full-function surround-sound processing, and built-in amplification. In its base form, for 6200 €, the M 51 comes with a built-in 5 x 60Wpc power-amplifier module...,

...but for 500 € more, this 200Wpc five-channel amplifier section can be substituted for the less-powerful amplifier.

England's Roksan showed the newest version of the popular Caspian line, called M Series-1. The CD player, shown above, comes with 24-bit/192kHz DACs, and retails for 1790 €.

Also available are a new preamplifier (top of rack), which retails for 1890 €, as well as mono amps claimed to deliver 185W into 4 ohms and 330W into 1 ohm. The amps retail for 2990 € per pair.

Pioneer has offered its S-H810V loudspeaker (1600 € per pair; there are other models in the line, including a bookshelf-sized speaker, center-channel, and surrounds), featuring a ribbon tweeter and coaxial midrange driver, for over a year...,

...but now the company has added a new subwoofer, the S-W250S, to the lineup. It features a 600W amplifier, a 10" woofer, and a rear-mounted passive radiator. The S-W250S retails for 1000 €.
