When the High End Society announced last year
that the annual High End show would move from the Kempinksi Hotel (above, photo taken in
2003), where it had been for more than 20 years, to Munich, many were understandably
skeptical -- and concerned. We were -- we've loved coming to this show!

The new facility in Munich -- the Munich Order
Center -- is a far cry from the old-time charm of the Kempinksi. However, if the first
day's impressions are anything to gauge the future by, the High End Society has
picked a winner and the move can be considered a complete success.

From the start, the ultra-modern M.O.C. was
bright, cheerful, and bustling with activity. The exhibitors seemed excited. Most
importantly, though, the people seemed to love the new venue -- and so did we. From what
we hear, the Society is already planning to have even more exhibit rooms next year. We know
we'll be back.
