Jeff and Andrea Fritz give a big thumbs up to Sony's KE-P61MRX 61" plasma display (26,000 €) being fed a high-definition image from Sony's Blu-Ray BDZ-577 optical disc recorder -- the recorder was flown in specially for this show. The image quality was almost photographic, and the movement on the screen was stunningly seamless. In short, it's the best video image we've seen -- for now.

The Sony BDZ-577 optical disc recorder sells for about 3500 €, and its 23GB storage space is said to hold two hours of high-definition programming.
