We first photographed Wilson Audio's Duette
($10,950 per pair) at CES and briefly heard it earlier this summer while at Wilson Audio.
It now nears release, and features two patent-pending innovations. You'll read about these
when Doug Schneider reviews the Duette sometime later this year or early next.

The Duette's completely custom-made tweeter.
It is optimized for off-axis performance to allow for increased placement flexibility. [www.wilsonaudio.com]

Another product we've covered in the past is
the Thiel ViewPoint speaker ($1990 each), which is custom sized for the wall-mounted video
display with which it will be used. Here a pair of ViewPoints look like original equipment
for a Zenith monitor. [www.thielaudio.com]

Gibson Audio's Wurlitzer digital jukebox
($3999) features Klipsch-designed speakers and amplification. It can store up to 1000 CDs,
download music from the Internet, and includes a digital-radio tuner. The control panel
shown on the right is also a handheld remote.

TEAC's mini-systems always impress us with
their good looks, sturdy build quality, and thoughtful features. Above, from TEAC's
Premium Edition line, is the SX CD player/table radio ($249).

Also from TEAC are the Premium Edition R2
clock radio ($169)...

...and R1 AM/FM radio ($129). Both are petite
and beautifully styled -- the runway models of the table-radio set.
