The two-piece Revelation Audio Mistral speaker system looks to offer a lot for its $6000-per-pair asking price. The potential owner picks among two different top and bottom modules with different size and number of drivers. Shown here are the S-6 minimonitor with Sub-6 base, which has four powered woofers in an isobaric configuration. Frequency response is said to be 28Hz-40kHz.

The Aurum Acoustics Integris CDP is a preamp and CD player in one. It features a modular and upgradeable architecture and uses an Anagram DSP module. It costs $11,000; look for an Ultra Audio review later this year.

Kharma's first amplifier is the MP-150 monoblock ($3400 USD each), which uses "a proprietary pulse-width-modulation circuit," according to the distributor. A pair produced Standout sound driving Kharma CRM 3.2 FE speakers.

The new-look Simaudio i-7 integrated amp is fully balanced and outputs 150Wpc. It costs $5495. [www.simaudio.com]

Another new Canadian-made integrated is the Bryston B100 SST, which comes with or without a built-in DAC and MM phono stage. Without both options, the B100 SST costs $3495; the DAC adds $1200 to the price, and the phono stage $500.

The new Spectral DMA-250 stereo amplifier was used for a good portion of the Wilson Audio demo that seemed always packed with showgoers. The price of the amp is $10,100.
