Knowing the brand and its emphasis on
two-channel audio, we were a little surprised to see Naim introduce an integrated
five-channel all-in-one home-theater system, but here it is. The n-VI ($5750) features
CD/DVD playback, five channels of 50-watt power, and an FM tuner.

Two new electronics from Anthem -- one for
stereo use and the other for multizone support. Above is the Integrated 225, a 225Wpc
integrated amp ($1499)...

...and here is the Multizone 1265 ($2499), a
fully programmable 12-zone integrated amp/controller. [www.anthemav.com]

Not to be
outdone by sister brand Mirage, Athena has introduced its own iPod dock. The iVoice
($199) was designed completely in-house. It can be mounted on the wall and send video
output to a monitor. [www.athenaspeakers.com]

Athena also introduced the new LS series of
speakers, which use Energy-conceived Composite Fiberglas woofers. Prices range from
$200/pair for the LS-50B minimonitor (shown far left) to $350/each for the LS-500B
floorstander (shown far right). [www.athenaspeakers.com]

Not to be outdone by sister brand Athena,
Mirage introduced the new budget-priced Omni series, which includes four speakers. From
left to right are the Omni 150 minimonitor ($280/pair), Omni C150 center-channel speaker
($250/each), Omni 350 floorstander (two shown, $300/each), and Omni 550 floorstander ($400/each). [www.miragespeakers.com]
