Series 2

Mirage's new OmniVibe ($299) may just may be the best-sounding iPod dock on the market because it uses Mirage's Omnipolar technology to create a more spacious sonic presentation. Also, claimed bass extension is to 60Hz. [www.miragespeakers.com]

Integration rules! The Epson MovieMate 30 combines a projector, DVD player and audio controls in a single chassis. It features 480p resolution, 1200 ANSI lumens lamp power, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio.

The most easily recognized feature of Logitech's soon-to-be-available Harmony 1000 remote control ($499) is its 3 1/2" touch screen. However, there is much more to this seemingly simple remote, including IR and RF functionality and the ability to configure it via the Internet -- no programming! It's also rechargeable. We can't wait to give it a go -- and tell you more about it.

Infinity's redesigned Primus speakers looked elegant with their softly shimmering silver grilles. They use Infinity's Metal Matrix Diaphragm drivers. There are seven models that range in price from $99 to $349 each -- conspicuous high value, we thought. We hope to get a pair of P152 minimonitors for review and measurement.

PSB's Stratus line includes the company's best-known and most distinguished speakers. The Stratus G-series speakers, which represent the beginnings of the new Stratus line, use woven-fiberglass woofers and feature glossy cabinets. Shown here are the Straus GB1 (left, $1099/pair) and GT1 ($1999/pair). Also on display was the GC1 center-channel speaker.
