Whenever Roger Kanno travels he likes to sample the
"foods of the land." In Las Vegas, it was the steak-and-shrimp
special at Mr. Lucky's in the Hard Rock Hotel, and in Munich it's a local delicacy
called weis wurst, which means "white sausage."
Doug Schneider tried one, but got only halfway done with
it. He found the look and texture off-putting. He was heard
muttering something about it looking like a body part from an albino pig. Roger, on the
other hand, can't stop raving. "I'm eating at least one every day," he said.
"I wonder if I can get these things at home."
