Camelot Technology showed The Round Table
DVD-Video player ($3995), which comes equipped with an Anagram Technologies ATF 24/192 DAC
module for audio playback. The Round Table also decodes HDCD.

Want Anagram Technologies in a more reasonably
priced package? Try the Camelot Technology Arthur v3.0 DAC for $1895. The black potted
module in the upper left-hand corner is the Anagram Technologies-sourced DAC module.

Marantz was showing a fine collection of their
historic offerings to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Shown above are the Model 16 80W
mono tube amps. They were produced between 1969 and 1970 and retailed for $450.

More up-to-date offerings were also on hand
from Marantz. The SC7S1 ($5000) preamp is on the upper left and is flanked by the SA-1
SACD player ($7500) on the upper right. The MA9S1 mono amplifiers ($5000 each) are shown
on the bottom.

Monster Gaming showed the System 5.1
home-theater speaker system. Two systems are available: one for the Sony Playstation 2 and
another for the Microsoft XBox. The system is completely powered and carries a retail
price of $200.


The Morel Harmony 10-Sub ($999) subwoofer uses
a 10" driver with a 3" voice coil. The two hooks shown on the upper-rear face
mount inside a wall without the use of screws.

Also new from Morel is the Octave 5.1M. Made
from MDF instead of more costly Corian like some of Morel's other offerings, the Octave
5.1M retails for $2400 per pair.

Musical Fidelity's new Tri-Vista SACD player
is a two-channel-only player that retails for $6500.

Sunfire Corporation was showing the
seven-channel Cinema Seven power amplifier ($2995). The Bob Carver-designed product
provides 200Wpc continuous into 8 ohms. Also available is the Cinema Seven Signature
(400Wpc) priced at $3995.

Distributed by cable manufacturer Tekline,
this small adapter will allow you to use an audiophile power cord with certain DVD players
with removable power cords. Cost is $20 for a standard version. A cryogenically treated
version is $30.
