Leveraging the digital-processing technology
they know best, MSB's $8000 Super DVD Audio Player will play all current DVD formats
(including SACD). It also utilizes Firewire and has a built-in eight-channel preamplifier.

Piega of Switzerland's new speaker is the very
attractive C 3. Sanibel Sound paired the $9000/pair speakers with Aloia electronics
with impressive results.

Sound Application showed their new Linestage
(left, $4200) and XE-6 (right, $2200) line conditioners along with the established XE-12S
($3200).

The Unison Research Unico CD player ($1795)

Acoustic Dreams displayed the lovely new Ayon
Falcon loudspeaker ($10,000/pair) with a claimed frequency response of 35Hz to 38kHz and a
specified 90.5dB sensitivity.

The new Bluenote Belvedere turntable ($2995)
uses a spring-tuned isolation and is shown above with the Bellaria unipivot tonearm
($1995).

Looking like it should be able to receive
radar signals, the Cadence Audio Avita ($3995/pair) is a new speaker from India. The
woofer is a dynamic driver while the tweeter is a curved electrostatic panel.

Opera debuted the Consonance Cyber 10 class-A
single-ended tube headphone/integrated amplifier ($979). The Cyber 10 uses KT88 or
KT66 tubes and generates 12 watts in ultralinear mode or 5 watts in triode. [www.operaudio.com]

Another Opera product is the Cyber-211
monoblock amplifier ($5500/pair). The Cyber-211 is a class A single-ended design that uses

The Clef Balance ($4900/pair, right) is a new
transmission-line speaker from Speaker Art. The Super Clef II ($2000/pair) is an updated
version of the fine-sounding Super Clef, a favorite of Doug Schneider.
