five-channel amp (bottom, $2250 introductory price), which offers 120Wpc, and the S/7000e

Emotiva offers some of the most stylish
surround-sound components on the market. Shown on the bottom of the stack above is the
seven-channel power amplifier.The unit is modular (Roger Kanno holds a self-contained
module below) and sports 200Wpc. The retail price is $2000.

 
The ingenious spring-loaded GutWire WallPlate,

similar device to the company's NotePad. The retail price for a set of three RoundPads is

Reference 3A's Dulcet minimonitor features a
diminutive 5" woofer. Price per pair is $1695.

EMM Labs had in prototype form their newest
creation, an SACD transport (top), which is said to be slated for completion in the
spring. In production form was the DCC2 DSD DAC/preamp (middle) priced at $10,000. The
DCC2, in addition to handling digital inputs from DSD and CD transports, has an analog
input for even more flexible system integration.
