Audio Machina, Absolute Cable

The sound emanating from the tiny Audio Machina Ultimate Monitors ($9700/pair, 26" stands included) was detailed, punchy, very quick, and showed good bass extension with the help of a PCM subwoofer. The speakers were paired with a Nagra MPA amplifier and Audio Aero Prestige CD player. The various Absolute Cables were new designs by Jim Sautter; they included Absolute interconnects ($349/three-foot pair), Absolute power cords ($199/three-foot length), and Absolute speaker cables ($499/three-foot pair). Despite the cables being unshielded, they looked nice and are not expensive. Pay attention to these cables.
